The FOSTERING Science program is a support program under the supervision of Grenoble Institutions (universities and research organizations). The goal is to inform and help researchers who wish to apply for competitive calls to carry out their innovative research projects in a Grenoble-based institution. The program has been launched to stimulate applications for the ERC European Scholarships and is now opening up to other funding under Pillar 1 (Scientific Excellence) of the 9th Framework Program such as the Marie Sklodowska Curie program. The selection of these programs is very high and the competition is at a high international level. In summary, this program offers to researchers on the site an awareness of the potentialities of this funding. It also gives the opportunity to evaluate their own eligibility conditions but also documented information and strong support for their applications to ensure maximum chances of success. Fostering Science wishes to encourage its members to reinforce their participation in European research projects. One of its principle objectives is to increase researchers' chances of obtaining grants into the Horizon Europe Framework program. Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships in Horizon Europe involve European and Reintegration Fellowships (held in Member States or associated countries) as well as Global Fellowships (based on a secondment to a Third Country). The call of HE MSCA PF 2022 opens on April 13th 2022 with corresponding deadline for submission on September 14th 2022. The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships will be open to excellent researchers of any nationality. The scheme also encourages researchers to work on research and innovation projects in the non-academic sector and is open to researchers wishing to reintegrate in Europe, to those who are displaced by conflict, as well as to researchers with high potential who are seeking to restart their careers in research. Through the implementation of an original and personalised research project, MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships aim to foster excellence through training and mobility and to equip researchers with new skills and competences in order to identify solutions to current and future challenges. Postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to reach out to society at large to make the results of their research visible to citizens.
